ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Associate Manager of Financial Center Operations will engage in a tailored onboarding and training program. This includes immersive experiences across Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, and Management. This position is designed to equip successful candidates for a future role as a Financial Center Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete the FCMA training roadmap and onboarding tasks from the outset to program conclusion, including achieving a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
  • Develop expertise in nurturing Consumer and Small Business client relationships by delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Fifth Third's offerings, processes, and internal resources to effectively guide and support the team.
  • Master the consultative sales approach to proactively assess the financial needs of clients and suggest suitable solutions.
  • Learn to create a cohesive business strategy ensuring all clients receive a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are paired with the most suitable banker for ongoing support.
  • Gain skills in sourcing, developing, coaching, and leading a team that embodies our Core Values and business objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that works closely with business partners.
  • Engage in community initiatives that enhance the areas we serve.
  • Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, exemplifying the ethical standards expected of all employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Assist in providing employees with timely, constructive feedback; support their development to reach their full potential and offer challenging opportunities that promote career advancement; acknowledge and reward employee achievements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
  • Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in both verbal and written communication.
  • Competence in analyzing credit and financial data.
  • Proven ability to effectively execute and coach sales strategies.
  • Exhibits strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated capacity for sound decision-making.
  • This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration upon employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard office setting.
  • Prolonged use of computer screens.
  • Occasional travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
