Overview
Under general guidance, executes a range of routine to moderately complex clerical and financial tasks, including inventory reconciliation, financial reporting, generating correspondence for refunds, and processing various financial transactions. This role encompasses responsibilities in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial sectors. Special projects may also be undertaken as needed.
Position Details

Work Environment:
  • This is a full-time role with a Hybrid schedule, requiring an 8-hour shift (40 hours/week) from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Compiles and organizes financial data related to refunds, invoices, adjustments, cash disbursements, and other financial documentation. Ensures that all data is accurate and well-organized for processing. Provides regular summary reports of financial activities to management.
  • Conducts thorough research using financial systems and records to identify discrepancies such as overpayments or misallocated funds. Addresses routine inquiries and escalates complex issues as necessary.
  • Performs calculations on financial documents to verify the accuracy of transactions, including bank deposits and refunds.
  • Assists with various accounting and finance-related tasks, which may involve monitoring financial systems, entering journal entries, tracking funds, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Drafts and sends correspondence regarding outstanding payments or refunds as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Alternatively, two years of experience in supporting financial operations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in business mathematics.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
