Role Summary: This full-time position involves overseeing the medical billing and coding department, ensuring maximum reimbursement through effective management of Payor Contracts. You will hold overall responsibility for current operational processes and their adaptability to the evolving landscape of healthcare reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of all business office functions, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Maintain knowledge of records management, coding, managed care, and accounts receivable policies and processes.
- Oversee billing and collections from various insurance payors to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct onboarding and training for new hires, as well as ongoing education for existing staff.
- Support the hospital's mission and promote a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in medical billing management within a hospital or clinic setting.
- 4+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to HIPAA and privacy policies, reporting any violations to the Compliance Officer or Senior Leadership.
Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to receive all required vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination or request an exemption prior to employment.
