GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The Associate Manager of Financial Center Operations will engage in a thorough, tailored onboarding and training program. This initiative encompasses rotations across various departments including Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, and Management. The position aims to equip promising candidates with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career as a Financial Center Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete the FCMA training roadmap and all onboarding tasks from the outset to program completion, including obtaining a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
  • Develop proficiency in enhancing Consumer and Small Business customer relationships, ensuring a memorable customer experience.
  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Fifth Third's offerings, processes, and internal resources to effectively guide and support the team.
  • Master the consultative sales approach to proactively assess the financial needs of existing and potential customers, recommending suitable solutions.
  • Learn to formulate a cohesive business strategy that ensures all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are paired with the most suitable banker for ongoing support.
  • Understand how to recruit, mentor, and lead a team that embodies our Core Values and strategic objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that works closely with business partners.
  • Engage in community-focused initiatives that benefit the areas we serve.
  • Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, exemplifying the ethical standards expected of all employees.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Assist in providing team members with timely, constructive feedback; support their development to reach their full potential and offer challenging opportunities that promote career advancement; acknowledge and reward achievements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A college degree or a minimum of two years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
  • Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in both verbal and written communication.
  • Competence in analyzing credit and financial data.
  • Capability to effectively execute and coach sales initiatives.
  • Exhibits strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions.
  • This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration upon employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard office setting.
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen usage.
  • Occasional travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training sessions.
