ROLE SUMMARY:
The Financial Center Manager Associate will engage in a thorough and tailored onboarding and training program. This initiative encompasses rotations across various departments including Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, and Management. The position is designed to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as a Financial Center Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complete the FCMA training roadmap and all onboarding tasks from initiation to program conclusion, including achieving a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
2. Develop expertise in nurturing Consumer and Small Business customer relationships, ensuring a memorable customer experience.
3. Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Fifth Third's offerings, processes, and internal resources to effectively guide and lead the team.
4. Master the consultative sales approach to proactively assess the financial needs of customers and propose suitable solutions.
5. Learn to create a cohesive business strategy where all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are matched with the most appropriate banker for ongoing support.
6. Gain skills in sourcing, developing, coaching, and leading a team that embodies our Core Values and business objectives.
7. Foster a collaborative culture that works closely with business partners.
8. Engage in community-focused activities that contribute positively to the areas we serve.
9. Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, demonstrating the ethical standards expected of all employees.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Assist in providing employees with timely, constructive feedback; support their development to reach their full potential and offer challenging opportunities that promote career advancement; acknowledge and reward employee achievements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A college degree or a minimum of two years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally.
3. Ability to analyze credit and financial data effectively.
4. Proven capability in executing and coaching sales initiatives.
5. Demonstrated business acumen and decision-making skills.
6. Registration under the S.A.F.E. Act is required at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Typical office setting with extended periods of computer use and occasional travel for meetings and training.
