Role Responsibilities:

As a Storage Sales Specialist, you will be a key player in driving sales of storage products, services, and solutions within your designated territory. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading sales efforts for storage solutions across various industries and accounts.
  • Identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.
  • Developing strategic pursuit plans and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Contributing to the development of proposals, engaging in negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Collaborating closely with Account Managers to provide technical expertise and support during client engagements.
  • Coordinating sales activities with account managers, presales teams, channel partners, and other stakeholders to ensure pipeline integrity.
  • Working across HPE teams to create a unified approach to business development, including comprehensive account planning.
  • Evaluating the feasibility of solutions from both technical and business perspectives to qualify opportunities.
  • Negotiating advantageous deals to expand the company's market presence and revenue in storage solutions.
  • Driving sales initiatives for the Storage portfolio, leveraging strong leadership and initiative to successfully close deals.
  • Building relationships with channel partners to enhance technology enablement and co-selling efforts.
  • Leading and coordinating marketing campaigns for storage solutions to ensure successful launches and sustained momentum.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for storage solutions within assigned accounts or regions.
  • Articulating HPE's strategy and offerings to partners and stakeholders to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Utilizing customer references to simplify complex technologies and enhance customer understanding.
  • Generating interest among customers and aligning business benefits with technology offerings, illustrating the ROI and TCO advantages of HPE solutions.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience:

  • A university or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving progressively higher sales quotas and engaging with diverse business clients.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, specifically in storage-related sales.
