Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement SAP Data Service jobs to extract, transform, and load data from source systems into reporting data marts/data warehouse in Oracle.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and System and Data Architects to develop new solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Support existing SAP Data Services solutions and ensure they are running efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of ETL processes and solutions.
  • Ensure best practices are followed during system design and build.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes for Data Warehousing, Data Migration projects using SAP Data Services.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating SAP environments with other systems.
  • 5+ years of experience writing SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with relational and dimensional data models.
  • 2+ years of government contracting experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Services setup, installation, and configuration.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Solid understanding of ETL best practices.
  • Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Resourceful and creative in solving problems and overcoming obstacles.
