Job Overview

RER Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a Technology Subject Matter Expert to contribute to the mission of the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED). This role focuses on advancing clean energy demonstration initiatives in collaboration with the private sector, aiming to enhance deployment, foster market acceptance, and facilitate a fair transition to a decarbonized energy framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise and industry insights to meet customer specifications effectively.
  • Deliver innovative thought leadership regarding strategic plans within the relevant discipline.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required to secure a client-issued Public Trust.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Proven industry experience in pertinent areas such as clean hydrogen, carbon management, advanced nuclear technologies, long-duration energy storage, industrial decarbonization, or demonstrations in rural settings and former mining sites.
  • Experience in Clean Energy is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of business writing fundamentals are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is expected.

Education Requirement: A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
