Wipro Givon USA is seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the management of extensive Quality initiatives and enhancements, aiding in customer audit responses and corrective action requests, and serving as a technical advisor for the Quality inspection team.

Qualifications - Are You a Good Fit?

  • In-depth knowledge of inspection processes in the aerospace sector
  • A minimum of 3 years in a quality leadership or similar position
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate complex assignments
  • Proficient in interpreting and training others on aircraft drawings, specifications, and blueprints
  • Skilled in drafting routine and complex reports and business correspondence, with effective communication skills for group presentations
  • Strong mathematical skills, including probability, statistical inference, and geometry
  • Capable of following and providing instructions in various formats
  • Expertise in geometric and positional dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Proficient in utilizing online data systems and electronic media
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards and auditing processes
  • Experience with precision measuring tools such as CMM, calipers, and micrometers
  • Exceptional organizational abilities
  • Effective presentation skills for management, customers, and employee groups
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision capabilities including close vision and depth perception
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee

Key Responsibilities - What Will You Do?

  • Lead the execution, maintenance, and completion of projects that promote long-term quality enhancements
  • Coordinate quality-related processes under the guidance of the Quality Manager
  • Collaborate with customer representatives to uphold quality standards
  • Engage in customer audits
  • Support and address audit requirements
  • Assist in preparing Corrective Action Requests for customers
  • Lead initiatives supporting AS 9100 and other industry/customer certifications
  • Work alongside Operations, Engineering, and other departments to meet quality requirements
  • Develop and implement best practice inspection standards
  • Provide training to inspectors and staff on quality assurance and inspection topics
  • Act as a technical resource for quality inspectors in resolving issues and interpreting requirements
  • Recommend strategies for enhancing inspection efficiency
  • Contribute to fostering a positive work environment
