In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and repair are met. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from conducting thorough inspections to verifying compliance with regulations.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components, meticulously adhering to customer request cards or manufacturer's manuals.
  • Guarantee accurate documentation of all maintenance activities performed, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct final buy-back inspections of completed maintenance work, verifying its quality and compliance.
  • Carry out in-progress inspections, including clearance-to-close procedures, torque verifications, dimensional checks, and rig operations.
  • Hold the authority to release aircraft back into service and issue airworthiness certificates on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA Form 337.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate extensive expertise on 737/767/Airbus/Next Gen aircraft.
  • Hold a valid GEN FAM certification for 737, Next Gen, and A320.
  • Be in possession of an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Provide a standard tool kit.
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check and comply with FAA drug and alcohol screening requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Exhibit the ability to interpret maintenance manuals, wiring prints, and engineering drawings with precision.
  • Maintain professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Possess strong documentation skills and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate physical agility, including occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Work comfortably in a FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance hangar and ramp setting.
