This role is responsible for overseeing the management of long-term quality initiatives and enhancements, assisting with customer audits and corrective action requests, and serving as a technical expert for the quality inspection team.

Qualifications - Are You the Right Fit?
- Extensive knowledge of inspection processes within the aerospace sector
- A minimum of 3 years in a quality leadership or comparable position
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate complex responsibilities
- Proficient in interpreting and instructing others on aircraft drawings, specifications, and blueprints
- Skilled in writing both routine and complex reports and business communications, with effective presentation skills
- Strong mathematical abilities, including understanding of probability, statistical inference, and geometry
- Capability to follow and provide instructions in various formats
- Expertise in geometric and positional dimensioning and tolerancing
- Proficient in utilizing online data systems and electronic resources
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards and auditing practices
- Experience with precision measuring tools such as CMM, calipers, and micrometers
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate information to management, clients, and team members
- Capacity to sit or stand for extended periods
- Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision and depth perception
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee
Key Responsibilities - What Will You Do?
- Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of projects that foster long-term quality improvements
- Coordinate quality-related processes under the guidance of the Quality Manager
- Collaborate with customer representatives to uphold quality standards
- Engage in customer audits and support audit requirements
- Assist in drafting Corrective Action Requests for customers
- Facilitate activities in alignment with AS 9100 and other industry standards
- Work alongside Operations, Engineering, and other departments to meet quality requirements
- Develop and implement best practice inspection standards
- Provide training to inspectors and staff on quality assurance and inspection topics
- Act as a technical resource for quality inspectors in resolving issues and interpreting requirements
- Propose enhancements to increase inspection efficiency
- Contribute positively to the workplace environment
