Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for calling on established and prospective ag grower customers to sell seed, agronomic products, and precision ag services.
Key Responsibilities:- Learn and implement a value-based selling system to effectively meet sales goals
- Understand and put into action marketing plan initiatives to drive sales growth
- Develop and comply with a sales budget to ensure profitable sales performance
- Maintain and grow a customer base, as well as develop a new customer base through effective sales strategies
- Work with various software platforms to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Farm/ag background with proven sales experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of agronomy, with an ag-related degree beneficial
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to work within a budget and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Pre-employment drug screening and ability to pass
