Position Summary
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for Grow Op Farms. This role serves as the primary contact for accounts, acting as a bridge between clients and the organization. The manager will assist in vendor education and events, identify key gaps in the market, and pursue selling opportunities to enhance our business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for accounts, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct weekly sales check-ins with clients.
- Make regular sales visits to stores within the designated territory.
- Facilitate quarterly business reviews with major accounts.
- Calculate and communicate discounts for special promotions or outdated products.
- Inform management of any product or documentation issues.
- Update clients on new product launches and promotional offers.
- Provide recommendations for product placements to enhance account visibility.
- Coordinate Vendor Day events with appropriate personnel.
- Monitor real-time inventory levels using various data tools.
- Submit weekly order proposals for vendor approval based on inventory trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting with research and development.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Experience in business-to-business sales is highly preferred, with cannabis sales experience being advantageous. Candidates should be willing to travel statewide for vendor shows and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in computer usage is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
