Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to join our team at Phat Panda. This role will act as the primary point of contact for our accounts, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between customers and our company, resolving any questions or issues that may arise.
  • Perform weekly check-in sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Make 25-30 sales calls per week, visiting stores in assigned territories to build relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Host quarterly business reviews with top accounts to discuss sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Calculate discounts for special buys or outdated products and notify the Sales Support Representative Team.
  • Notify upper management of any product or paperwork issues that may impact sales or customer satisfaction.
  • Alert clients of new products, promotions, and other relevant information to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Provide product and specials recommendations to accounts to build relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Use data tools and account history to analyze accounts and make suggestions for items to be placed on the shelf to maximize sales and brand presence.
  • Coordinate Vendor Day events with scheduling personnel to ensure smooth execution and maximum impact.
  • Track and review real-time client inventory using Headset, Greenbits, and other inventory and data programs to identify sales opportunities and optimize inventory levels.
  • Place weekly proposal orders in the Panda Portal for approval by vendors, considering inventory trends and flow rates, and distribution voids as well as par levels set by vendors if applicable.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Business-to-business sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Cannabis sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel state-wide for Vendor Shows and as needed.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Computer experience preferred.
