Position Overview:

The Ethics and Compliance Training Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Ethics & Compliance Team at Toyota Material Handling. This position is focused on the development, execution, and management of training and communication initiatives that align with the company's mission and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support for Ethics & Compliance Program: Collaborate with the Ethics & Compliance Team and various stakeholders to enhance the program's objectives and initiatives.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Evaluate compliance training requirements based on key performance indicators and the annual Ethics & Compliance strategy.
  • Training Material Development: Design and produce engaging compliance training resources, including presentations and e-learning modules, ensuring alignment with company values and regulatory standards.
  • In-Person Training Coordination: Assist in delivering in-person training sessions and monitor attendance to ensure compliance.
  • Training Effectiveness Evaluation: Develop and implement strategies to assess the success of training programs and ensure completion of mandatory compliance training.
  • Communications Strategy Development: Work with team members to create and execute a robust compliance communications strategy.
  • Communication Plan Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and update the annual communication plan focused on ethics and compliance awareness.
  • Creation of Informative Materials: Produce newsletters, emails, and intranet updates to disseminate important compliance information to employees.
  • Monitoring Communication Impact: Establish methods to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Risk Awareness Collaboration: Engage with the organization to identify compliance-related risks and adapt training and communication strategies accordingly.
  • Website Management: Assist in maintaining the internal Ethics & Compliance Team website, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • 7-8+ years of experience in ethics and compliance, training, or communication roles.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver engaging training programs and communication materials.
  • Strong understanding of ethics and compliance frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing relationships with external vendors.
