Position Overview:
The role encompasses the management of the Cook Global Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Program, focusing on training and communication strategies. This position serves as a vital resource to support E&C initiatives, including the planning, development, and delivery of impactful training content and communication materials. Collaboration with various functional areas is essential to ensure the effectiveness of these processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of E&C training and communication initiatives.
- Engage with different functional teams to guarantee alignment and effectiveness in training and communication efforts.
- Plan, track, develop, and distribute employee training and communications in conjunction with relevant E&C personnel.
- Act as a primary resource for the E&C function regarding training and communication processes and systems.
- Manage and refresh electronic communication materials for the E&C function, including the SharePoint site, app, and external web content.
- Continuously enhance training and communication strategies, content, and media formats with a creative approach tailored to specific audiences.
Stay informed about the E&C Program and the diverse business activities within the organization. Develop and maintain knowledge related to ethics and compliance, including enforcement goals, regulatory landscape, and changes. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, engagement, and curiosity, while also showing a sense of urgency when required. Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Collaborate effectively in team settings, interacting professionally with colleagues across various levels of the global organization. Strong oral presentation and written communication skills are essential, along with strict adherence to safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in training, communications, marketing, or compliance-related fields such as ethics and compliance, risk management, legal, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs.
- Proven ability to conduct subject matter research and effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing and delivering training is preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online, SmartSheet, and Cornerstone software is advantageous.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- General office environment.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting.
- Requires close visual acuity when working with computers and similar devices.
- May involve occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences.
- Domestic and international travel may be necessary.
Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
