Your Role and Responsibilities

You are a seasoned people leader who is enthusiastic about uniting teams and excels in a dynamic product innovation environment. This team collaborates with our Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing divisions to conceive, execute, and deliver on the most vital innovation and ROB programs/initiatives.

You are also a meticulous program manager at heart, and while you enjoy leading and supporting a team, you also relish the opportunity to engage directly with managing intricate, cross-functional programs where you can apply your expertise.

You are a high-energy self-starter with a passion for cultivating relationships, solving problems, and uncovering opportunities for growth and positive transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of program managers with diverse experience levels and career trajectories.
  • Identify and address cross-functional and inter-team challenges.
  • Foster positive, trusting relationships through consistent, timely delivery of commitments and effective communication.
  • Act as the team's strongest advocate - celebrating achievements and assisting in overcoming obstacles.
  • Adopt a thoughtful and strategic approach to task execution, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Spot opportunities to align projects with business-critical initiatives, driving cross-functional programs to enhance team performance and capabilities.
  • Navigate ambiguity effectively and engage leaders across functions to devise a plan and communicate with a diverse array of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee key programs of your own that require senior leadership involvement and drive them to completion.
  • Consistently deliver programs and achieve objectives on schedule.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to keeping people and processes organized.
  • Experience in fundamental project management competencies including budget, scope, schedule, requirements, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Enthusiasm for contemporary development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, and/or Kanban.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Passion for emerging technologies.
  • Experience engaging with customers, senior executives, and business leaders.
  • Extensive experience in team management.
  • Interest in identifying opportunities for engineering training, skills enhancement, and growth.
  • Understanding of business operations.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to engage in design, tooling, and implementation discussions and decisions.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing new engineering operational processes.
  • Advanced knowledge or education in engineering.
