Technical Program Manager, Operations Finance Transportation Leader

The Amazon Transportation Controllership team is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Technical Program Manager to lead program solutions for the Operations Finance organization. This team operates in a fast-paced environment where we strive to Work Hard, Have Fun, and Make History.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives to deliver for customers in both the short- and long-term.
- Lead and coordinate design and implementation efforts, coordinating across multiple teams to develop optimal solutions.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
- Manage programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Define and prioritize the roadmap, deep dive to root-cause customer issues, release the latest new feature, define and report business metrics, and discuss new approaches to building and operating at scale.
About the Team
Trans Controllership in Finance is one of the most challenging and exciting spaces to work for, with new geographies, new modes, and new carriers being launched every day. The team requires seamless integration with the Transportation technical systems for automatic Ingestion of Freight invoices, thorough auditing, timely payment, and proper accounting to keep our books clean and accurate.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
- Experience managing mechanisms like WBR/MBR/QBR to support business operations.
- Expertise in Sprint Planning and prioritization of data engineering workload.
