Role Overview: As a Program Manager at Meta, you will be positioned at the intersection of technical execution and strategic business initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with Engineering, Business, and Product teams to drive impactful outcomes and measurable results across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Engineering and business stakeholders to articulate program requirements, prioritize tasks, and define the scope, including the roadmap and long-term vision for the teams you collaborate with.
  • Effectively manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Work alongside diverse teams to facilitate technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation activities.
  • Establish and maintain communication strategies to proactively inform stakeholders about program status, challenges, and risks.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators and quality metrics, ensuring successful execution of program deliverables across functions.
  • Lead process enhancements across multiple teams, focusing on reducing manual efforts through automation.
  • Proactively identify and assess complex, long-term infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale technology programs that span multiple organizational boundaries.
  • Expertise in understanding user needs, gathering requirements, and defining project scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently across various teams, showcasing critical thinking and leadership skills.
  • Experience in communication and collaboration with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in large-scale systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders, achieve strategic objectives, and adapt product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.
  • In-depth knowledge of or experience with distributed systems.
