Position Overview

As an Environmental Customer Experience Specialist at Tradebe, you will act as a knowledgeable resource for both internal teams and external clients, responding to inquiries and offering expert advice on hazardous waste management practices. Success in this role requires building and nurturing relationships across various departments to ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a vital communication link between clients, potential customers, sales teams, and operational facilities.
  • Manage customer inquiries, challenges, and feedback within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales department to improve sales strategies and establish a robust support system for our clientele.
  • Prepare and provide estimates for prospective waste streams.
  • Develop and submit waste profiles for necessary approvals.
  • Examine profiles and manifests to confirm adherence to DOT and RCRA regulations.
  • Forward new customer contract pricing to the pricing department and adjust existing customer pricing as required.
  • Work in conjunction with the transportation team to arrange and verify pickups and deliveries for clients.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in customer support related to industrial and hazardous waste.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, Communication, or a related discipline is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with RCRA regulations and experience in waste profiling are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying operational documents, standard operating procedures, and waste manifests.
  • A friendly, service-oriented attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
