Position Title: Program CoordinatorOverview of the Role:

The Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the daily functions of the program. Reporting directly to the Associate Director, this individual serves as the main point of contact with the funding organization. Key duties encompass fostering community collaborations, strengthening prevention strategies, and advancing educational initiatives in alignment with grant stipulations. This is a full-time position contingent upon grant funding, offering flexible working hours to meet the needs of the target demographic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate protocols and procedures for effective program execution.
  • Lead project activities and oversee daily operations.
  • Manage program-specific locations.
  • Design and implement reporting and evaluation frameworks.
  • Build partnerships for service delivery.
  • Recruit participants and volunteers for program activities.
  • Facilitate HIV risk reduction interventions.
  • Participate in organizational meetings and events.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with the designated population.
  • Understanding of HIV and Event Management.
  • Familiarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Willingness to adapt work hours as needed.
  • Experience engaging with adolescents aged 12-18.
Essential Skills:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently with a task-oriented focus.
Educational Background:

A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.

Work Environment:

This role may involve regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
