Key Responsibilities:

Studio Management:

  • Maintain a presentable studio environment at all times.
  • Coordinate studio repairs and develop long-term solutions for recurring studio issues.
  • Perform runner duties, including support tasks for clients.
  • Prepare for recording sessions by setting up microphones and handling equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
  • Manage the stocking of recording supplies in designated control rooms.
Departmental Services:
  • Collaborate with building facilities regarding incoming and outgoing assets, including UPS, FedEx, and international shipments.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in control rooms, break rooms, closets, and restrooms.
Client and Customer Engagement:
  • Address all client requests promptly.
  • Assist guests and clients in navigating the studio, including parking and building access.
  • Maintain service quality and cost efficiency across the team.
  • Ensure all departments are adequately stocked with office and administrative supplies.
  • Support the Studio Coordinator with essential administrative tasks and daily workflow management.
  • Assist departments with the follow-up of equipment rentals.
Creative Contributions:
  • Exhibit the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, addressing issues swiftly.
  • Possess familiarity with contemporary recording techniques and technologies.
  • A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, punctual, and dependable, with a strong willingness to learn and maintain confidentiality with high-profile clients.
  • Proactive individuals with exceptional organizational and time management skills are preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with all levels of staff and management.
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are crucial.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines are required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are important.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including night shifts and occasional overnight shifts.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a production or recording studio environment is preferred.
  • A general understanding of the current music industry is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in ProTools is an advantage.
  • Commitment to professionalism in a creative workspace is essential.
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Music Production or Audio Post Production, or equivalent experience in a Production/Studio environment is required.
