POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Senior VFX Project Coordinator, you will serve as a key liaison for producers, project managers, and internal production teams throughout the various phases of post-production.

The ideal candidate will effectively manage the flow of shots between departments, coordinate daily reviews, and provide status updates to ensure timely delivery of shots.


MAIN DUTIES:


The candidate will deliver administrative assistance to the Production Management team under the direction of show supervisors, production managers, and producers.

The candidate will possess knowledge of post-production processes and will be accountable for scheduling and tracking the progress of tasks for assigned artists (or sequences) in Shotgrid.

Additionally, the candidate will maintain a record of revisions while relaying client feedback to producers and lead artists.

VFX coordinators support their assigned Producers by generating daily task lists for artists,

Facilitate internal workflow processes (e.g., outsourcing, color correction, transcoding, pipeline) with other internal Method teams and collaborate with various Method Studio locations on shared projects.

Work closely with artists to ensure tasks are completed and ready for review by producers and leads.

Coordinate all client deliveries, both physical and digital, using approved client systems (Aspera, WireDrive, etc.) in collaboration with the I/O department (as needed);

Maintain task lists and logs of all deliveries;

Manage meeting schedules and walkthroughs for CG or Comp Supervisors, taking and distributing notes for the team as necessary;

Be responsible for organizing dailies and all client review sessions to capture creative feedback and track client notes.

Act as the primary contact for Method's internal Editorial team;

Oversee run-requests and petty cash management.

WHAT YOU BRING:
Experience with production tracking software and asset management software (preferably Shotgun and Ceta);

Experience in post-production and finishing processes along with a general understanding of work created in software used for Compositing, 3D modeling, Animation, and VFX (e.g., After Effects, C4D, Flame, Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, etc.)

Experience with extensive schedule management in a fast-paced environment;

Ability to make independent decisions with a high level of creativity;

Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and analytical skills;

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and applications;


Highly developed communication skills to facilitate interdepartmental needs and schedules, maintaining a consistent standard of excellence in all business communications.

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off.
