Position Summary:

The Clinical Manager will deliver clinical guidance and support to both staff and program participants, assist in the creation, execution, and evaluation of programmatic systems, and collaborate with the Program Director to formulate innovative strategies that align with best practices and address the needs of our clientele. Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Oversee and evaluate staff performance, including managing Electronic Health Records (EHR) and approving documentation as the rendering provider for billing purposes when necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold program policies and procedures while implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Administrative Oversight: Monitor and manage the program or departmental budget effectively.
  • Direct Clinical Support: Maintain a caseload of clients as needed, which includes:
    • Coordinating input from various professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans with measurable goals.
    • Providing crisis intervention support from a trauma-informed perspective.
    • Conducting screenings and assessments to evaluate mental health, substance use, and associated risks.
    • Documenting all clinical interactions promptly.
    • Offering clinical supervision as required by state licensing boards for staff pursuing licensure.
    • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, or homelessness.
  • At least three years of experience managing a diverse team of clinicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Basic understanding of child development (ages birth to 12 years) as it relates to the role.

Required Education:

  • A Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Must possess or be actively pursuing a CADC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW licensure.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must hold a CADC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, or be in the process of obtaining licensure.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records is necessary.
  • Proficient technological skills are essential.

Program Overview:

Family House NOW is a specialized 13-bed residential treatment facility designed for pregnant women and mothers with children who are dealing with mental health issues and substance dependence. The program uniquely addresses addiction, mental health, life skills, trauma, and parenting skills, while also focusing on prevention and intervention strategies for children.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting Capacity: Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
