Position Summary:

The Clinical Manager will deliver clinical guidance and leadership to staff and participants, assist in the creation, execution, and evaluation of programmatic systems, and collaborate with the Program Director to devise innovative strategies that align with best practices and address the needs of our clientele. A strong commitment to the values of RHD is essential in all job functions.

Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Oversee and assess staff performance, including management of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and billing documentation as necessary.

Quality Control:

  • Establish and uphold program policies and procedures, along with continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Administrative Oversight:

  • Manage and monitor the program or department budget.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and document treatment and services for program participants, both individually and in groups.

Direct Clinical Support:

  • May carry a caseload of clients as determined by the Program or Program Director, which includes:
  • Integrating input from various professionals into comprehensive treatment plans with measurable goals and outcomes.
  • Providing crisis intervention support from a trauma-informed perspective when necessary.
  • Conducting screenings and assessments using validated tools to evaluate mental health, substance use, and associated risks.
  • Timely documentation of all clinical interactions.
  • Providing clinical supervision as mandated by state licensing boards for staff pursuing licensure.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, or homelessness.
  • At least three years of experience managing a diverse team of clinicians and medical personnel.
  • Basic understanding of child development (ages Birth-12 years) as it pertains to the role.

Education:

  • A Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • Must possess or be working towards a CADC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW licensure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records.
  • Proficient technology skills.

Program Overview:

Family House NOW is a specialized 13-bed residential treatment facility designed for pregnant women and mothers with children who are experiencing mental health issues and substance dependence. The program addresses addiction, mental health, life skills, trauma, and parenting skills, while also focusing on prevention and intervention strategies for children.

Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy lifting may be required, with the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.
