About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Med Source MI. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving the development of local, national, and international sales, maintaining key customer relationships, and developing and implementing strategies for expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and our company, actively promoting our services and gathering and exchanging information to meet client needs.
  • Represent our company at industry functions, conferences, tradeshows, seminars, meetings, and when necessary, organize and conduct client entertainment.
  • Inform clients of updates in regards to policy changes, services, and physicians.
  • Assist in resolving client concerns relative to service and report quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Visit physicians as necessary and assist with physician recruiting efforts.
  • Evaluate the results of overall sales efforts regularly and report these results to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Continuously analyze the market and competition and identify external threats and opportunities; adapt sales strategy to changing conditions.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates as directed.
  • Attend all sales and marketing meetings as directed.
  • When necessary, assist with account collection activity.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales, or 2 years related experience in outside sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry experience in IME, worker's comp, case management, or legal services highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of claims management relative to liability defense is preferred.
  • Must hold a valid state driver's license.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, while monitoring own work to ensure quality is met.
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to problem-solve and develop alternative solutions when dealing with client issues or emotional topics.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and willing to promote a positive team-oriented environment.
