About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Specialist CL2 to join our team at Maine's Public Universities. This is a full-time position that will be split between the Division of Natural Sciences and the TRIO/Student Success Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, including coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and processing accounts payable.
  • Assist with projects and perform general administrative duties, such as data entry and record-keeping.
  • Support the Student Success Center by ensuring timely response and access to services.
  • Communicate effectively with university staff, students, and the general public, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, PeopleSoft, and Google applications, and have the ability to perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • 60 credits or more of higher education or the equivalent work experience and training.
  • One to three years of administrative support experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in office management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
  • Experience utilizing Concur, Marketplace, and Mainestreet.
  • Prior public higher education experience.
