Job Overview

Visa is a leading payments and technology company, driving innovation and growth in the financial services industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Manager to lead our Visa Direct sales efforts and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve critical sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Partner with sales leaders to sell directly to potential clients across multiple segments, including financial institutions, payment processors, and remitters.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of Visa Direct, a payment service that enables clients to facilitate fund transfers and disbursements to Visa accounts around the world.
  • Demonstrate the value of Visa Direct to clients and stakeholders, highlighting its benefits and features.
  • Work in an agile environment to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
Essential Functions
  • Achieve or exceed global and North America Visa Direct sales goals, working closely with account executives and sales teams to drive sales acceleration.
  • Develop sales strategy for sales acceleration, including assessing high-potential client targets, use cases, verticals, and other key factors.
  • Take clients through the sales cycle from prospecting to solutioning to deal structure to contract, ensuring a seamless and effective sales process.
  • Work with existing Visa account executives to cross-sell Visa Direct solutions where a good fit exists, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
  • Identify and sell to remitters and payment processors, encouraging them to add Visa Direct to their portfolio of offerings to their clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across all regions to ensure we have the necessary resources and support to drive business success.
  • Work with local and global Visa Direct product teams to develop the go-to-market strategy and ensure we have the right value proposition and product construct to meet client needs.
  • Represent Visa Direct at select conferences and tradeshows, providing education, thought leadership, and engaging with clients, prospects, and partners.
Qualifications
  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience, with a Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines, with executive and consultative selling experiences.
  • Creative self-starter with a bias toward action and strong problem-solving skills, with excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and executive presence.
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way to drive adoption, with accomplished sales leadership experience and demonstrated thought leadership.
