Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Relationship Management and Prospect Analytics team. This role is pivotal in driving our fundraising strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative tools and methodologies for effective prospect management, utilizing data mining and predictive analytics.
  • Oversee the Relationship Management and Prospect Analytics team, ensuring alignment and coordination of activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of key prospects to aid fundraisers in crafting effective cultivation and solicitation strategies.
  • Provide insightful metrics to evaluate fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with gift officers to enhance high-capacity prospect portfolios, adjusting as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Work alongside leadership and Development Research to ensure a robust prospect pipeline for fundraising objectives.
  • Create and sustain a suite of analytical tools for both descriptive and predictive purposes.
  • Establish and uphold prospect management guidelines, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of data within the prospect management modules of our CRM system.
  • Supervise and mentor the Relationship Management and Prospect Analytics staff, setting clear goals and facilitating professional development.
  • Stay informed about the organization's goals and the broader development landscape.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of five years in progressively responsible roles within higher education prospect development or a related field.
  • At least three years of management experience is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Seven years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Expertise in developing proactive prospecting methodologies, including data segmentation and analysis.
  • Understanding of wealth indicators and their application in prospect evaluation.
  • Experience in data analytics and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data warehousing and mining tools.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and customer-focused work environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in developing and executing new strategies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.
