Position Overview

We are currently in search of a Client Communications Associate to become a vital part of the CM Americas Team. The core responsibility of this role involves collaborating with various internal departments to develop tailored presentation materials that adhere to both regulatory and brand standards for client servicing and prospect engagements. This position necessitates a professional who can effectively bridge communication between product strategy teams, compliance, and account management to ensure smooth interaction and teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities

The essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams to produce client-facing and marketing materials for institutional clients.
  • Collect and analyze client portfolio data utilizing both internal and external applications.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality and detail-oriented work.
  • Contribute positively to a sense of teamwork, offering assistance to team members as needed with enthusiasm.
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.2 overall is preferred.
  • 2-6 years of experience in financial services, asset management, investment banking, investment consulting, accounting, or a similar professional setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formula manipulation, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Intermediate skills in PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, proprietary attribution and performance systems, and external databases to streamline tasks and troubleshoot template-related issues.
  • A strong client service orientation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff across various departments.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities.
  • A strong ethical foundation, aligning with PIMCO's values and principles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A background or interest in economics.
  • Experience with manipulating queries in Business Objects, InfoCube, and VBA is advantageous.
PIMCO employs a comprehensive compensation strategy that includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. The base salary is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors, while the discretionary bonus rewards performance based on company, business, team, and individual achievements.
