UDR, Inc. and its affiliated entities are in search of a Community Engagement Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role is essential in enhancing the living experience within our residential communities.

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to elevate the resident experience, fostering a sense of community and loyalty among residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the management team to address resident inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Greet potential residents, current residents, and service providers, providing information about the community, amenities, and leasing details.
  • Respond to phone calls and messages in a timely and professional manner, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Systematically manage incoming packages for residents.
  • Organize and promote community events and activities, such as charitable initiatives and seasonal celebrations, aimed at enhancing resident engagement.
  • Oversee key management processes, ensuring proper distribution and documentation of keys and access devices.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents, addressing questions regarding lease agreements and community features.
  • Facilitate the distribution of welcome materials to new residents, including an introduction to community amenities.
  • Clarify the 'Move-In Inventory' process to new residents and ensure completion of necessary documentation.
  • Verify compliance with mandatory insurance requirements prior to resident move-in.
  • Coordinate move-in schedules, ensuring coverage during scheduled absences.
  • Collaborate with various teams to meet leasing and renewal objectives.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to manage resident interactions and service requests efficiently.
  • Prepare market analysis and comparative reports as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to employment.
  • Demonstrate commitment to UDR's core values in all aspects of the role.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Background in multi-family housing, hospitality, or retail sectors.
  • At least one year of office experience is required.
Education:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $19.50 to $22.50, based on experience.
