Provider Partnerships and Business Development Manager

Nourish is revolutionizing the healthcare industry by making it easy for people to eat well. With a mission to improve health outcomes, they address America's preventable death crisis related to poor nutrition. Their food as medicine platform connects patients with telehealth Registered Dietitians, food delivery, and mobile apps, all covered by health insurance.
The company has gained momentum since its launch two years ago, boasting thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on their platform. Patients span various nutrition-related conditions, including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity/weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. Nourish operates in all 50 states and is growing rapidly.
Role OverviewIn this key role, you will play a crucial part in advancing Nourish's mission to enhance health outcomes. As a Provider Partnerships and Business Development Manager, your primary goal will be to grow patient referrals by establishing and nurturing relationships with healthcare provider partners. These partners include primary care physicians, specialist physicians, and other healthcare professionals who refer their patients to Nourish for nutrition support.
Key Responsibilities- Identify new provider partner leads through proactive research and prospecting, spotting opportunities for growth.
- Connect and convert leads into referral partners, leveraging effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Foster and strengthen existing partnerships through regular in-person visits, emails, and thoughtful interactions, continuously nurturing relationships.
You will also contribute to the development of the Provider Partnerships function by shaping internal and external processes, educational resources, and more.
Requirements- A passion for Nourish's mission and a desire to help solve America's healthcare crisis related to poor nutrition.
- Experience engaging with providers in a business development, sales, account management, or partnerships capacity (at least 2+ years).
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), strong time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and an aptitude for learning new systems.
