Job Summary:

The Account Development Executive position drives top-line growth by forging relationships with customers who do not have a business relationship with CDK within a specific geographical area. This role grows new market share through conquest sales, selling our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to automotive dealerships. The Account Development Executive works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products. The primary goal is to achieve annual assigned sales plans, working under the guidance of the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth strategy in the market for the business, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Exceed sales targets by consistently meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, with a focus on delivering results-driven performance.
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, proactively managing internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an outside sales B2B new business development role, including experience selling to automotive dealerships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of automotive dealership experience, preferably in a high-volume sales or sales management role, with experience using our CRM system.
  • Experience using consultative solution selling to align client business needs with a solution.
  • Ability to travel 75% or more, with overnight travel required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $85,000 + Commissions + Benefits
  • Annual performance bonus
