Position Summary:

The Sales Account Manager is tasked with identifying and generating new business through proactive sales initiatives, including prospecting, managing sales pipelines, and closing deals. This role also focuses on expanding our existing client relationships, primarily engaging with small to medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or surpass established sales targets.
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including networking, research, and initiating contact with potential clients.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by profiling accounts, drafting proposals, delivering presentations, and following up on communications.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to effectively address client objections, negotiate agreements, and finalize sales.
  • Collaborate closely with Staffing Recruiters to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and optimal candidate placements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database by regularly updating company and contact information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Engage in professional development to stay informed about trends in sales, relationship management, and the staffing industry.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including weekly prospecting activities, sales quotas, and gross profit targets.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in business-to-business sales.
  • Strong skills in sales presentations and persuasion.
  • Experience in the staffing industry, particularly in business development or sales.
  • Familiarity with consultative, solutions-oriented selling techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in relationship building and management.
  • Ability to effectively use CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Team-oriented with a positive outlook and self-assurance.
