Position Overview

The Regional Sales Executive for Food Service Brands plays a crucial role in achieving volume and revenue targets within designated end-user accounts across the assigned region. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing relationships to enhance sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to potential new accounts aligned with corporate strategies to drive sales and expand the territory. Follow up on leads generated through distributor sales representatives and Multi-Unit Account Managers, as well as through networking efforts.
  • Design and implement effective marketing initiatives within both existing and new end-user accounts.
  • Oversee the placement and installation of equipment, ensuring that the ongoing throughput requirements of the accounts are met.
  • Leverage market trend data, consumer insights, and regional intelligence to secure new product placements and enhance usage rates among food service operators.
  • Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key customers, preparing and executing quarterly actionable business plans to support customer growth.
  • Track and manage account activities and sales pipeline using the relevant CRM system.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships within the region, working effectively with diverse functions at the customer level and with internal partners in Marketing and Customer Care at Kerry.

Qualifications and Skills

A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Food Service or a related field is required.

Demonstrated results orientation focused on top-line volume and profit growth, combined with the ability to execute strategic and tactical field activities effectively in the assigned territory. Strong presentation skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a competitive spirit are essential.

Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management systems is advantageous.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively in both individual and group settings.

A solid foundational understanding of the Food Service industry is necessary.

Willingness to travel overnight 20-30% of the time is required.

Compensation Overview

The typical hiring range for this position is between $62,906 and $92,755 annually, influenced by various factors including education, work experience, certifications, and location. In addition to competitive pay, Kerry provides a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and retirement contributions (subject to eligibility requirements).
