Job Summary:
This role is essential in supporting the Sales & Marketing divisions by managing designated customer account relationships. The focus is on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while promoting the company's products and services to enhance customer sales potential. Regular engagement with assigned accounts is required, alongside the development of new client relationships, documentation of cost savings, coordination of sales strategies with preferred suppliers, and active management of company sales resources. Input to pricing and purchasing departments regarding competitive pricing, margin strategies, product evaluations, and inventory requirements is also expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass established sales targets.
  • Expand current and prospective accounts by recognizing new capabilities and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain daily outreach expectations through a structured account planning process.
  • Identify opportunities that align with active promotions and enhanced capabilities.
  • Validate and convert new prospects by targeting key influencers and positioning the company favorably against competitors.
  • Understand customer business goals and translate them into a competitive advantage for the company.
  • Stay informed about company offerings and the competitive landscape.
  • Direct high-potential accounts to senior management when necessary.
  • Ensure quality customer support through effective follow-up and service delivery.
  • Provide timely responses to technical inquiries, which may require after-hours support.
  • Document cost savings relevant to the assigned customer base.
  • Utilize marketing tools and technical specialists to support a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with preferred vendors to maximize sales potential.
  • Manage company sales resources to optimize sales and profit opportunities.
  • Advise management on the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Provide insights to sales and marketing teams regarding customer needs and market potential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in distribution, customer service, marketing, or sales preferred.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and public presentations.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software is preferred.

  • Deliver responsive and quality service to exceed customer expectations.
  • Technical understanding of electrical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating competence and engagement.
