The Enrollment Center Specialist plays a vital role in client engagement, utilizing technology to deliver: initial evaluations and assessments, assistance with applications and renewals, thorough follow-up to guarantee clients receive necessary services, outreach initiatives for education and enrollment, as well as problem-solving and referral support for clients facing complex challenges. A successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, advocacy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to follow-up, ensuring clients can access the services crucial for leading healthy lives.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • An Associate's Degree or higher; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with County benefit programs is highly advantageous.
  • Certification as a Certified Application Assistant (CAA) is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in client-facing roles within non-profit, community health, or social services settings.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to assist clients effectively.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and aspirations for leadership.
  • A commitment to the growth and well-being of individuals and their communities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in web-based systems, real-time communication tools, Microsoft Office, and Client Record Management systems.
  • A desire for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
