We are in search of a proactive and driven individual to join our team as a Lead Associate in Marketing Rx (Prescription). This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing marketing and product management strategies for our portfolio of established generic prescription products. Your efforts will directly influence business growth, optimize product performance, and help achieve our revenue, profit, and market share objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies by analyzing market trends, customer behaviors, and external factors to create accurate forecasts for both new and existing products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to spearhead product growth initiatives aimed at driving business expansion and meeting financial targets for the designated product line.
- Oversee product management for assigned items post-launch, including tracking sales performance, forecasting demand, managing inventory allocation, and adjusting production and pricing strategies as necessary.
- Conduct thorough secondary research on products, customer demographics, and competitive landscape, while monitoring regulatory developments and generating analytical reports to guide product management decisions.
- Evaluate product pricing against market standards and recent changes, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies for assigned Rx products.
- Facilitate discussions with various departments to establish and agree upon new pricing structures as required.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years in the pharmaceutical sector, specifically in product management and business analytics.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the dynamics within the generic pharmaceutical market, including contracts, customer relationships, and pricing strategies.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Suite) with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective decision-making and negotiation skills.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
