Position Overview

The Opportunity:

BioSpace, Inc. is in search of a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to become a vital part of our US Commercial division. This position is designed to enhance the synergy and productivity of our marketing efforts within the Respiratory Marketing sector. Your role will be instrumental in merging various elements of marketing operations, fulfillment, technology, and project oversight. You will refine processes to guarantee that our marketing initiatives are impactful and embody the innovation and responsiveness that BioSpace, Inc. represents. Furthermore, you will lead significant projects and strategies, delivering operational excellence while partnering with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in Operations: Direct and guide marketing operations, ensuring they align with BioSpace, Inc.'s overarching business aims and strategic objectives.
  • Process Enhancement: Lead the US Marketing promotional review committee, working alongside essential cross-functional and global partners to refine processes that satisfy the compliance and efficiency requirements of the commercial organization.
  • Management of Content Lifecycle: Supervise the lifecycle of print and digital content, including the establishment of fulfillment portal systems, creation of procedural documentation, and development of training resources, ensuring compliance alignment.
  • Planning for Capacity: Oversee team capacity planning to forecast and fulfill business demands, detailing the tools or methodologies utilized for this planning.
  • Coordination of Events: Organize and implement high-profile meetings and events to ensure they align with BioSpace, Inc.'s strategic vision.
  • Excellence in Operations: Manage the generation of MSAs, SOWs, and POs to ensure a seamless operational flow.
  • Oversight of Budget: Track marketing expenditures to maintain project budgets, offering strategic insights for cost efficiency, and collaborating with global teams as needed.
  • Management of Stakeholders: Serve as the primary contact for US Commercial Account Management Operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Operational Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of the US marketing organization, ensuring that strategic and operational goals are met.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization by undertaking additional tasks as assigned, including collaboration with global priorities.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, with at least 5 years in marketing operations and/or project management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget oversight, and operational execution.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in the Biopharma industry, particularly concerning marketing and advertising.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of the commercial marketing function within the biotech/pharmaceutical landscape.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex regulatory environments to ensure compliance in all marketing activities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and comfortably in ambiguous situations.
  • A dynamic team player with outstanding organizational, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct swift analysis, ethical judgment, and rapid response on corporate reputation matters, including effectively articulating the company's stance internally and externally.
