Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and handling various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule patient appointments for a multi-provider practice, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as processing referrals, medical records, and test results.
  • Communicate Effectively: Assist with and/or relay patient requests/questions to clinical staff, ensuring seamless communication and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor Provider Schedules: Monitor provider schedules to ensure scheduling accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and provide a positive experience for patients.
  • Administrative Experience: Have medical office and billing/insurance verification experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Leadership Potential: Demonstrate long-term leadership potential, with a strong desire to grow and develop within the organization.
  • Teamwork Attitude: Possess an outstanding teamwork attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and other departments.
  • Communication Skills: Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers.
