Job Overview

Perry Homes, LLC is excited to offer a pivotal role in our operations with the Application Support Administrator position. This role is integral in providing assistance to both internal and external stakeholders for our essential software applications.

The Application Support Administrator will collaborate closely with various departments and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges, ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. This position demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive technological solutions for cloud-based applications vital to our business.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses to enhance operational efficiency and address technical issues.
  • Engage in the application enhancement cycle, focusing on defining, measuring, analyzing, and improving processes.
  • Build trust with internal and external clients through effective and timely communication.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and concepts to ensure effective application support.
  • Contribute to the development of system documentation standards and quality assurance practices.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to gather requirements and understand application use cases.
  • Participate in project teams and initiatives aimed at business improvement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of systems and applications to:
    • Diagnose and resolve root cause issues.
    • Assist end-users with their challenges.
    • Provide constructive feedback to internal teams or vendors regarding proposed solutions.
    • Understand the intersection of business processes and technology.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
    • Perform regular maintenance on applications.
  • Enhance our security framework through periodic reviews of user access and roles.
  • Address support tickets promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with residential construction processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with major software systems (ERP, CRM, CMS, etc.), Business Intelligence tools, and software development platforms (such as MS Dynamics, Power BI, Azure DevOps) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
