Job Overview

Position Summary:
Caliber Flexible Staffing is on the lookout for a talented and driven Electrical Applications Specialist to become a vital part of our innovative team. In this position, you will play a key role in the design, development, and support of electrical systems and components tailored for diverse applications. Your collaboration with clients, sales personnel, and engineering teams will be essential to ensure our offerings consistently meet or surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design electrical systems and components according to client specifications and requirements.
  • Produce and evaluate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout designs.
  • Offer technical support and direction to clients and internal teams throughout the product development process.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, as well as manufacturing personnel, to guarantee smooth integration of electrical components into final products.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to electrical systems and components.
  • Assist the sales team by providing technical insights during client presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design and applications engineering.
  • Expertise in creating and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout designs.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, circuit design, and power distribution.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, or similar tools) for electrical design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, UL).
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
