Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist/Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining accurate demographic and financial information, completing registrations, and ensuring correct room placement for patients. Additionally, this role will involve obtaining necessary notifications, authorizations, and verification of benefits for all accounts and insurances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain accurate demographic and financial information from patients
  • Complete registrations and ensure correct room placement
  • Obtain necessary notifications, authorizations, and verification of benefits
  • Utilize computer systems to manage patient information and insurance data
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in a hospital admitting or medical business office
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • CPI Certification within the first 90 days
