Financial Coordinator/Project Support Specialist

Corman Leigh Companies is seeking a dedicated Financial Coordinator/Project Support Specialist. The successful candidate will possess 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the construction or land development sector. This role is a full-time position based in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reconciliations, complex journal entries, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and various reports.
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, issue payments, and manage insurance, vendor contracts, and lien releases.
  • Submit loan draws to lenders utilizing AIA forms.
  • Support the Controller and Project Manager in managing project budgets.
  • Document escrow closing statements.
  • Review and process payments for all property taxes associated with the company.
  • Oversee and process property tax billings.
  • Monitor and manage tenant and borrower payments.
  • Administer payment notifications, billing statements, and late notices.
  • Manage project bonds and insurance policies.
  • Assist the VP of Construction with project management tasks.
  • Support the owner in preparing land acquisition packages for equity partners and lenders.
  • Contribute to office administration tasks.
  • Track and oversee land acquisition and disposition escrows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Project Accounting and Procore is advantageous.
  • HR administration experience is a plus.
