About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Document all activities performed in accordance with established policy and procedures.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including feeding, ambulating, and surgical preps.
  • Collect and process specimens, and communicate pertinent information to the Registered Nurse.
  • Provide safe and timely transport of patients as assigned.
  • Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and post strips on the flow sheet.
Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Paramedic preferred.
  • Current California CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certificate required.
  • BLS Certification (AHA and current) required.
  • Basic dysrhythmia certification within 90 days of hire.
