About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development and Growth to join our team at Further. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to penetrate the financial services vertical and expand our market presence.
  • Nurture and qualify leads by identifying target clients, defining business challenges, and articulating how our services and solutions can address those challenges.
  • Collaborate with our team to quantify client needs and build credibility with key decision-makers.
  • Design and deliver compelling presentations to prospects, highlighting our unique value proposition and ability to solve complex business challenges.
  • Lead the proposal process, working closely with our team to identify scope, statement of work, estimates, and other key elements.
  • Engage with decision-makers, procurement teams, and legal teams to move proposals through the decision-making process and ensure timely delivery.
  • Transition new client relationships to our Client Services team, creating opportunities for long-term growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in selling data-related services and solutions to C-Suite stakeholders.
  • An established network of relationships in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding market presence through innovative sales strategies and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong relationships within a partner ecosystem (Salesforce, Adobe, Google, etc.) are a plus.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Further's solutions and services, target market, and value proposition.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our offering to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass sales quotas of $1.5 million annually.
