Position Overview

The Human Resources Support Specialist will assist in various functions within the HR Department, focusing on record management, file organization, and HRIS data entry. This role will also provide support to the Executive Assistant to the President.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team in implementing a range of human resources programs and procedures for all employees.
  • Conduct routine filing, scanning, and archiving of documents to ensure compliance with record retention policies.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Partner with job postings, resume screening, phone interviews, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer letters.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the milestone recognition program.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support to the Executive Assistant, including organizing contracts, registrations, collection letters, and master service agreements.
  • Prepare for and assist with Board and Office Manager meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for company-wide training sessions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a combination of relevant experience and a high school diploma.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Familiarity with HRIS databases is preferred, with Paylocity experience being advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to work with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong critical thinking and ethical judgment capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is required.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $29.00 per hour, depending on the applicant's education, experience, and qualifications.
