Role Summary

We are in search of approachable, motivated, and trustworthy sales representatives to assist in delivering IQ Fiber's rapid and intelligent internet solutions to residents in the Jacksonville area.

Through our comprehensive training program, you will learn to effectively communicate our sales message to convert potential customers in designated regions to IQ Fiber. The Field Sales Consultant role is hands-on and involves engaging with residential clients directly (including door-to-door outreach) within your assigned territory. You will serve as our Local Expert on fiber-optic internet and Wi-Fi broadband services, primarily aiming to increase the adoption of IQ Fiber's internet offerings. Your responsibilities will include introducing our services, educating potential customers, and fostering growth in your area while maintaining a direct, honest, and transparent approach, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish IQ Fiber as the preferred provider for broadband services.
  • Achieve or surpass market penetration targets.
  • Engage with customers face-to-face at their homes or during community events to conduct the sales qualification process.
  • Deliver a successful personal sales presentation aimed at closing sales and recording orders in our internal systems.
  • Clarify the advantages of IQ Fiber compared to competitors.
  • Follow up with activated customers to ensure satisfaction and gather insights for the Director of Residential Sales.
  • Maintain performance within company standards.
  • Proactively pursue leads.
  • Monitor local competition to identify risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Participate regularly in community marketing events to enhance awareness of IQ Fiber, boost customer acquisition rates, and expand our customer base.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Energetic, friendly, and team-oriented personality.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in outside sales.
  • Experience in telecommunications is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of sales processes and management.
  • Strong presentation abilities and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional multitasking capabilities.
  • History of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for overcoming challenges.
  • Ability to pass a driver's license check, background check, and drug screening.
  • Experience with door-to-door sales is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess reliable transportation.
