Position Details
We are in search of approachable, motivated, and trustworthy sales representatives to promote IQ Fiber's rapid and intelligent internet services to residents in the Jacksonville area.
Through our comprehensive training program, you will develop an effective sales strategy to convert potential customers in designated neighborhoods to IQ Fiber. The Field Sales Consultant role is hands-on and involves direct interaction with residential clients, including door-to-door outreach. You will serve as the Local Expert on fiber-optic internet and Wi-Fi broadband solutions, with the primary goal of increasing the adoption of IQ Fiber's services. Your responsibilities will include introducing our brand, educating potential customers, and fostering service uptake while ensuring transparency and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish IQ Fiber as the preferred provider for broadband services.
- Achieve or surpass market penetration targets.
- Engage with customers in their homes or at community events to facilitate the sales process.
- Deliver a compelling sales presentation aimed at closing deals and processing orders within our systems.
- Clarify the advantages of IQ Fiber over competitors.
- Follow up with newly activated customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for the Director of Residential Sales.
- Maintain performance within company standards.
- Actively pursue leads and opportunities.
- Monitor local competition to identify challenges and prospects.
- Participate in community marketing initiatives to raise awareness of IQ Fiber and expand our customer base.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Energetic, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
- Proven sales experience, particularly in outside sales.
- Experience in telecommunications is highly desirable.
- Understanding of sales processes and management.
- Strong presentation and professional skills.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities.
- History of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to navigate challenges effectively.
- Must pass a driver's license check, background check, and drug screening.
- Preferred experience in door-to-door sales.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess reliable transportation.
