Job Summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Leader to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading front-end and service desk/kiosk associates, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate front-end and service desk/kiosk associates to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operation of the front-end and service desk/kiosk areas, including cash handling, customer transactions, and inventory management.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management to ensure seamless execution of customer transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Store Standards: Maintain high standards of customer service, store appearance, and operational efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to lead and motivate teams, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management.
